The yacht station caters for both side-on and stern-on berthing. Some newer vessels with platforms can only be boarded easily form the stern. Conversely, it can be impossible to board vessels with outboards or Z-drives at the stern. When looking for a new mooring it's very important to make the right choice here.
All berths at the yacht station are fully quay-headed and offer wide wooden decked walkways for easy access.
Electricity hook-up points are fitted to all quay-heading. All usage is metered — you pay for what you use. Rest assured that there are sufficient suitably positioned sockets for all vessels to connect to our system at the same time so you will always be able to connect.
Water taps have been conveniently placed along the quay-heading so you will never need to move your boat to fill your tanks. There is no charge for water usage, pressure washing is welcome. To avoid possible contamination you use your own hose. Taps are fitted with hozelock quick connectors and have A-B interrupt devices fitted to prevent contamination in the event of back-syphonage.
Rest assured that your vessel is safe as possible. Our site is fully lit all night and monitored using 24 hour CCTV surveillance. Mooring lines and electrical connections are checked daily at no extra charge.
Make use of our WiFi on your vessel with our full site coverage powered by Cisco enterprise grade hardware.
Toilets are available to all vessel owners and their crew. We can also provide a pump-out service when necessary.
The Wayford Bridge Yacht Station is open 365 days a year so you are free to use your vessel at any time. Ample parking is provided for our mooring customers.
We can provide a dry berthing service where your vessel is lifted out, berthed on land for the winter and lifted back in the Spring. Customers under a berthing contract with us pay only the cost of lifting their vessel.
An anti-fouling service is available for owners who choose to dry berth but prefer not to brave the elements in January to carry out the work. Work will be carried out subject to approved quotation / contract of works.
Dogs are welcome at the Wayford Bridge Yacht Station. However, being a holiday site we all must appreciate that not everyone is of the same opinion. It is for this reason that we ask that dogs be controlled on a lead whilst on the marina.
To facilitate exercising we offer the use of the farmland located to the left of the drive as you approach the yard and woodland located behind Wayford Marina (outlined in red). This facility is offered only to moorers at the Wayford Bridge Yacht Station.

At the Wayford Bridge Yacht Station we do not force you to use only ourselves to carry out maintenance or modifications as on some marinas. We understand that there is a wealth of quality suppliers and specialist contractors in this area who are likely to do a much better job than a single boatyard.
To help ensure a safe experience for you and to enable us to comply with our insurance we simply ask to pre-approve any subcontractors who will be working from our site.
